MacDonald Training Center greatly appreciates the wonderful volunteers who unselfishly offer their talent and time in support of our mission. Volunteer support often makes the difference in the acquisition of a needed skill by a person we serve as well as in the success or failure of a team project or organizational event.

MTC has many volunteer opportunities which range from clean up and painting projects to professional and technical consultation. Do you have a skill or talent which you would like to share with the people we serve? A professional acumen or services to donate? A willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to help?

Mentoring Monday

Would you like to help a person with a disability practice interviewing before he or she gets in front of an actual employer?

Join us for Mentoring Monday, a one hour mock job fair setting where individuals ready for employment get to practice their interviewing skills with a person assuming the role of a potential employer—you!

Come by yourself or bring a group! It’s a wonderful way to help your friends and neighbors with disabilities.

Contact us for the next Mentoring Monday!

MTC Needs YOU!

  • Mentor individuals by teaching a life enrichment activity, such as music or fine arts.

  • MTC needs administrative and clerical support.

  • MTC seeks volunteers to support our seasonal clean-ups and restoration projects.

MTC needs volunteers to assist in our outreach efforts, including receptions and art shows in our MTC Fine Arts Gallery and our annual fundraisers!
