MacDonald Training Center has over 20 years of experience in providing Supported Living Services that assist persons with disabilities in achieving these goals.

Whether just a few hours a month of coaching is needed or 24-hour-a-day support, we customize our services to meet all needs from those of individuals leaving home for the first time, to seniors wishing to age in place.

MTC’s Residential Services include:

  • Support for individuals with disabilities to live in community based homes or apartments, and receive services that promote choice and self-sufficiency.

  • Services to enable people with a greater variety and intensity of challenges, to live as independently as possible.

  • Customized supports to assist individuals looking for first time independent housing options.

Our Supported Living Coaches Work Closely With Each Person

  • Find and rent or purchase housing;

  • Find and select a roommate or roommates to share the cost of housing

  • Teach shopping and cooking skills, including planning for nutritional meals;

  • Help with banking, bill paying, and budgeting;

  • Help individuals interact with their neighbors and get involved in the local community;

  • Help with third party benefits;

  • Learn civic responsibilities

  • Help with self medication/health management

  • Learn safety skills

  • Advocate for your rights and independence
